Did anyone take the time to figure out the cryptogram in Wayward by Chuck Wendig? Anyone? Ok, so just me. Ha, yeah right! There’s no way I’m the only dork who had to stop in my tracks and figure it out, but for you lesser dorks out there, here it is:
THIS IS ALL A SIMULATION.
RFGQ GQ YJJ Y QGKSJYRGML.
A FORNITE SERVER GAINED SENTIENCE
Y DMPLGRC QCPTCP EYGLCB QCLRGCLAC
AND WE ARE IN ONE GIANT BATTLE

THE COMET WAS SOFTWARE.

ZSZZJC. YBQ, ZGRAF
So there it is. And yeah, did Chuck try to throw us all off by misspelling “Fortnite”? Or was it the dumbass unknown book character who created the cryptogram that screwed it up? Or was it not even referring to Fortnite, and maybe “fornite” is a thing I don’t know about because I’m not as big a nerd as I think I am???
ADS, beeyotches.
Great blog! Do you have any suggestions for aspiring
writers? I’m hoping to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you recommend starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid
option? There are so many choices out there that I’m totally overwhelmed ..
Any ideas? Thanks!
Thanks for the comment. WordPress.com can be a great (free) place to develop a new blog, and its templates and tutorials make it pretty user-friendly. Check out BloggingWizard.com for pointers about getting started. Paid options are more customizable, but I had a free WordPress blog for a couple of years and found it met my needs at the time.
